Greetings. I've been using MyMedia to play my extensive movie collection for a good while now. I was wondering if there was a way to remove the first set of folders (mymusic, mystreams, nowplaying) from ever showing up. I use the app specifically to watch movies and would like to reduce the unnecessary step of loading it up then clicking on myvideos. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

sourbear, it sounds like you may not have the right version of the server. Try to get it from here.
If you think you do have the right version, try this video and see if it works.

I uninstalled the old version I had sometime last year and re-installed the latest version thinking that may would fix the video issue for me but it didn't. I'll try that video and report back...

I'm glad to hear you're making progress! You can use MediaInfo to get all kinds of information on a video file. You might want to check out the Encoding for the USB channel thread. Anything that works for that should work here. There's also another free video converter, Freemake, that some people recommend for encoding for the Roku. There's a thread about it here.

There's two ways to do. Since you're now running the latest server code, you should be able to browse to your server's IP, port 8001, /configure (e.g., http://192.168.1.115:8001/configure) and set the folder there. The other way to do is to just edit config.ini in the server directory with notepad or your favorite text editor and, if it doesn't already exist, add a photo_dir entry (e.g., photo_dir = C:\Users\JT\My Documents\My Pictures).
