Got high level folders, navigated down to a WMA albu and clicked the first song - it never started playing.....

are WMA supported???

The Roku trace looks fine and normal except it's missing the "audio status: start of play" it emits when it finally has enough of the song to start the audio. My first guess is that the server is having trouble after it sends part of the song.

I restarted and re-loaded and now WMA's play ok but my MP3's like the link above with imbedded stuff in them dont play.

There is no info in the debug server trace

Ok - it looks like it wont play anything thats too deep in the directory tree

This wont play

Grateful Dead\Commercial Releases\Built to Last

down to a lower level in the directory tree to test this theory?

I tested nesting a song down to 8 levels in the latest release and it played without difficulty but I'll investigate it further if we can show that this specific album works when it's at a less nested path.

Standard is fine for this.

By "nesting" I meant enclosing a folder within another folder. I'll use the word "partition" when talking about the beta version for large collections.

Rephrasing my previous post:
