isnt their an easier was to connect roku through media center? The playstation can do it, and all my music/videos/photos are located on a buffalo nas drive with media sharing enabled so anything with a media network can pick right up on it. I would this in theory just enableing a media center sort of plug in would be better than most patch kit stuff.
