Latest SDK?
I see documentation for SDK 4.8, but the link to "Download SDK" on https://owner.roku.com/Developer is to SDK4.1. Where can I download the latest (4.8? 4.9?) SDK?

Re: Latest SDK?
Thank you for the fast response! I take it the examples are the only things that were updated? sorry, I'm just starting out and wanted to make sure I had the right stuff. Thanks again

Re: Latest SDK?
Yes. The PDF' documents are not likely to be updated from this point forward now that everything is online.

Re: Latest SDK?
The pdf files were nice as they could be read offline - now they will just be outdated if you're working in the car or something.

I like that the wiki's linkable, so it's possible to point people to specific parts of it, although I wouldn't say no to an easily downloadable version, for those times when you're offline (whether it's in a car or a cave, or whatever 🙂 ). I don't know if the wiki software Roku uses would support this, but if it could produce a pdf export of each of the spaces from the wiki dashboard, that'd be pretty useful I think. I could always save each page one at a time with the browser, or script up something with curl, but a built-in export feature would be easier.
/edit: Looks like that might be a feature they could enable:

Re: Latest SDK?
Well, if the internet goes down - which has been known to happen sometimes with internet service, or if you're on a trip without available internet access, having a pdf or two available would still be useful. Maybe they can enable that feature as you suggest. 🙂 A lot of times I use the local LAN to code and test roku applications on - with links to my own pc rather than the internet, so I could be working on code a long time without noticing the ISP has gone kaput, and without access to the internet I'd be screwed if I was trying to use a new feature that I needed the online-only wiki to look up. Even if I had to pull up the wiki and create pdfs online for it, I would prefer that to having to save each page of the site manually every time the firmware updates.

Re: Latest SDK?
4.9 was released in December, but the latest update in the example downloads is from October.
I don't understand why the online SDK was not updated when there were changes in 4.9, like Smooth Streaming captions.

Re: Latest SDK?
^ Holidays, small company and staff, and a backlog of channels waiting in line for approval is my guess.

Re: Latest SDK? question on your links
I'm looking at the supplied link of:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/rokusdkexamples/files/?source=navbar
but its dated 2016, where are you seeing the newer example files?
