New LT User unable to access Development Mode via Remote keypress sequence (Home 3x, Up 2x, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right) as indicated in Section 7.1 of 12/21/2011 "Developer Guide". Pressing the keys from the Main Screen but nothing happens?

What am I missing?

There's a specific cadence sequence has to be entered (not too fast, not too slow). Try about a 1/2 second between each keypress.
