Is it ok if the splash and other screen images in the image folder are jpg? I thought some of the images were required to be png at one time like the splash for example.

While correcting the RGB on some png images in gimp it showed the alpha channel value so it got me wondering if it's okay save all as jpegs with corrected 16x235 RGB on this next channel.

Just looking for someone to chime in and clarify if using only jpgs is ok?

JPGs are fine. I don't know of any PNG requirements for any of the channel image assets.

I believe the channel store images have to be JPGs, but I'm not aware of any that have to be PNGs.
