Help with SDK/examples/zips

*HELP* with Roku SDK file examples zip file name (simplevideoplayer)
when I unzip the file and put it a folder. Then zip it up it will not show up on the roku. But if I just install it from the SDK/examples/zips it shows up on the roku. What can I do to fix this?

Zip up the contents of the folder, not the folder itself.

When you examine the zipped file it should have the following structure:
images
source
manifest
README.txt
