If you've clicked on the Developer Forum link but ended up at a persistent "sign up" screen, you can solve the problem by clearing your Roku cookies. Refresh your browser tab and you should end up in the forums (not logged in, however). You'll still need to log in to post, etc. If I had time to screw around more I'd keep track of what they're doing with the cookies, but it's probably just a waste of my time.
