I don’t know, and this is probably a question for the developer forum, but I’ll just throw out that just because a device supports Unicode, doesn’t necessarily mean that the font(s) in use have a full set of glyphs for all 120803 Unicode-defined characters. (Most fonts do not.)
I know on Windows machines, there is a system where if a character isn’t defined in the current font, windows and/or the app seems to be pretty good at finding some other font on the machine that can render it, but I have no idea if anything similar happens on Roku OS.
