I'm currently managing digital menus on TVs for several restaurants. However, we want to upgrade from USBs to a Roku App to be able to display images/videos and update the folders remotely.
I need a basic channel that allows me to display a list of content named TV#1, TV#2 and so on. Every content will have to be for an individual TV. I want the owner to select either TV#1 or TV#2 TV#etc and have either a slideshow or a video play on a loop non-stop until the owner decide to quit it.
How can I accomplish this? I'm very new to the Dev of Roku. I already have a web server with a folder and images. I can even manage to dynamically create an XML file of these pictures using PHP.
How do I create the basic channel?
