That's what I'm asking about. Do you know for a fact that these splash screens can be .jpg's..?
Or do they possibly need to be .jpeg's or .png's... ??

I have used both jpegs (.jpg) and pngs (.png) for splash screens without issue. If you're asking if the extension can be ".jpeg" instead of ".jpg", I'm not sure, but that should be easy to test by renaming the file.
Since you said it was showing the "original splash" screen, that sounds to me like the package isn't being updated with the new images, which would be an issue on the InstantTVChannel side. There's a slim chance, if the files have the same name, that the Roku could cache the old version, but that seems unlikely in this case. If that is the case, though, rebooting the Roku (unplug/replug) will clear the cache, so you could give that a try, if you haven't already.
