I am at the 60+ days, no payout from two months ago.
Shortly I will put a note on my channel, politely, channel is at risk of being shut down, contact roku partnersuccess or customer service. if not getting paid, will eventually shut down the channel.
Same, I am also at the 60+ days, no payouts. No response from the partner success. I don't know why their name is partner success. They really are time waste. I am just asking about the payouts when are going and they have not seen my ticket from Tuesday. They only give option of rate us on a ticket where they solve a problem and where they did not, they did not ask for rating.
It's like some guys playing bad things or they just run them as they are.
But I think the approach you mention should harm yourself. Roku really do not care about us. If they know that you are doing this, they will rip your channel or maybe whole developer account.
The best approach I think should be to pin Roku on different platforms on X (Twitter), Roku community, Roku slack couple of Roku employees are there. Approach them on linkedin etc. Write articles on reddit, medium about their unethical approach.
Also, it would be best if we can grab attention of Roku investors towards this.
We can also make a petition collectively and different developers will sign and send a notice to them.
I have described what I understand maybe your views may differ and even better. Also, please let me know because I am also on the same spot.
We owe Roku tens of thousands of USD which Roku is not paying. 😞
Thank you for your notations.
Rhetorical question, if we collect a petition, to whom will we send it, that cares enough to correct this
If you look at their board of directors and legal counsel would
.
I have a suggestion, we could leak it to e.g. yahoo finance. other business news outlets.
If we try to put pressure on the "partnersuccess", we will just get ignored.
The price of the stock is the most critical item. Anything that affects their price of stock would be noted by them. Thus the sugestion of leaking to a news outlet. Exposure will get their attention.
I have seen other posts, where the developers are illiciting the help of fellow Roku employees via Twitter. Not sure if that is working.
If you look at their board of directors and legal counsel would that be of any inviidual that we can send information to.
Thoughts.
You can look up the Board of Directors and send e-mail via Linkedin.
Thoughts.
I like your approach and that is the only way.
Just to update the blog.
I did receive notice of payment right at sixty days. E-mail from Roku. It has yet to hit the account. So, not holding my breath, based upon previous experiences.
I have also receive payment notification on email from them but on Aug 2 2024. Weekend comes and weekend is ruined... So, our agreement is breached.
Payment have not arrived in bank.
Would try my best to escalate this if someone will hear. Don't know what their Developer Relations team do. They only tackle their own developers problems or also hear from us.
