Our Roku remote is draining new batteries in one week. I contacted Roku support. I spoke with Sri. See attached response.

The remote is defective, since the device is out of warranty we are unable to replace the remote. We suggest you purchase a new remote."
Don't waste your time contacting them. Roku apparently is not working on the issue, but tells you to buy a new remote, and when I pressed them on the issue, Sri offered to send me a 30 percent off coupon if your remote is out of warranty.
Remotes should not go bad in two years. There is no customer service.
