My original remote was not responding well with button presses so I bought a replacement. I didn't realize it's IR only but my real concern is that I can't scroll when holding down the arrow buttons. I can't even use the fast forward or rewind buttons - they have to be pressed repeatedly. Do I need to exchange the remote or is this a compatibility issue with my old Ultra?

Please be aware that the correct replacement remote for the Roku Ultra device will be a Voice Remote and not the Simple IR remote that you purchased.
