Remote to my TCL 43 inch TV runs slow.

The remote to my TCL 43 inch TV runs very slow. I press any button , to do anything on the remote, and it doesn't respond. When it does respond, I have to wait 10 seconds or so, for the next action to respond. I have tried new batteries, and even ordered a new remote, same problem.

You may just need to restart the TV.  Unplug the power for a few seconds and plug it back in or use the "System restart" menu option under Settings->System->Power.
