Does anyone know if an update was released within the last couple of months that would cause the Roku remote to send a stream of on/off IR commands to the TV for 20 or more seconds with a single press of the remote's power button?
That's what I'm seeing on two different TVs with Roku sticks. I hit the power button to turn the TV on and if I don't immediately cover up the IR transmitter on the remote, the IR receiver status light on the TV continues to flash and the TV will turn off again and on again for about 20 seconds. It's clear that the remote is continuing to send the on/off command.
I'm hoping this is a known issue and has a fix. Thanks!
