I've worked through all of the paring steps but can't make this remote work.
I noticed while trying to pair it, when I restarted the Roku unit, while it was trying to connect to the Wi-Fi, the remote responded to pressing the up and down buttons. But once it connected to the Wi-Fi the remote stopped working again.
What is wrong with this thing?
Nothing I've tried will make this remote respond. It's time I just throw it all away. I've waisted too much time on it.

Thank you, but unfortunately that didn't work. The serial number is S09041CCXNT1. I don't see a model number on the remote, but it does have voice control.
Do you have any other suggestions before I throw this out?
