I’m having the same problem with two Roku remotes. This is obviously a common problem. Blinking light doesn’t stop and still not pairing which renders your product useless. You shouldn’t be selling a product without supplying customer support of some sort. I have an Airbnb now and no TV because I can’t wait for you to respond via email etc. I will not be buying any more Roku’s
Oh and btw. None of us are referring to the enhanced anywhere remote. Your instructions to go to that link do not apply to the remotes we are referring to. I have the basic Roku remote and there is nothing online to help with the issue of green flashing light and no pairing.

Thanks for the post.
Please be aware that you posted in a thread that was titled pairing light. A pairing light on a remote refers to enhanced remotes as they are the only type of remotes that have a pairing light/button. If you do not have an enhanced remote, you would have a simple IR remote.
For troubleshooting steps regarding IR remote issues, visit our Support page here: How do I resolve problems with my Roku IR (infrared) remote?

There evidently is something going on with the roku remotes systematically. Mine just all of a sudden is doing the exact same thing. It started unpairing itself a few weeks ago, but I would press the pairing button and it would work. Now the pairing green light is constantly flashing, regardless of whether I remove the batteries or not. But it will not pair. I eventually just downloaded the roku app on my android phone and now have to use it...

My remote works the tv (on/off, volume) but will not work my streaming stick. I have followed the trouble shooting directions but still nothing. I’m frustrated!!

I had the same issue. I sat by the device with the remote blinking for about 10 minutes. It finally quit blinking green. When it quit blinking, I held the pairing button on the remote for 5 seconds, pointing to the stick, and it paired up automatically! I hope this helps.

I have had the same issue of blinking and unable to pair. I have been trying and retrying for the past month on several tvs, wifi on/off, new router, new batteries, everything I have seen suggested. I was even hoping I could just use my phone to access the stick instead of the remote but can't figure that out, I thought that was supposed to be possible but I guess not.
I have stick Model: 3810x
remote model: RC-AL7
I only bought this in May 2020 from Best Buy (New) and can't believe it is not working already. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the post.
If you are still unable to resolve the issue you are experiencing, please send me a PM with your Roku account email address, and include the serial number/device ID on the Roku device along with a summary of the issue you are experiencing. I'll be able to assist you further from there.

From what I can tell, I have a simple remote....but it does have a pairing button on the back, and once I tried following directions to umpair and pair, the green light never stops!

Hi, Brenda7,
If you're using a Roku stick, please check if it has a reset button on the stick. You may search for Roku Stick Reset Button to find out where it is located.
I solved my problem by pushing that button to hard-reset the stick first then following the pairing steps.
