Remote is not working. Pls help

The purple arrow keys to move around the screen in the middle of the remote is very delayed when I click on it. It seems to only be on Hulu I have this issue. How do I fix this?

    Hi konda855 whitesprings,

A warm welcome here at the Roku Community!

We appreciate you reaching out to us.

Since you've mentioned that the issue is isolated to the Hulu channel, we would first recommend performing the steps below to resolve the issue with your Hulu app before troubleshooting the remote:

    1. Remove the Hulu app by highlighting it and pressing the Star (*) button
    2. Restart the Roku device from Settings > System > System Restart
    3. Install the Hulu app again. Select Channel Store > Search for the app > Click Add channel

Let us know if the issue is persistent, and from there, we'll continue to assist further.

    All the best,
    Janadee

  • I have the same problem with the Roku simple remote. I cannot control the cursor selection for entering my password when signing into HULU. The cursor moves independently and stops at random keys. I've not found a solution online for this problem.
