Remote dead after recharging... needs replacing

Hi, my voice remote pro just died. I plugged it in to charge it and then afterwards it could neither communicate with the Roku or use the TV power on off, mute, volume etc controls. 

I tried to re-pair it but nothing. 

This has happened over and over over the last few years and you've been great in replacing these. Can you do it again? 

Let me know what the next step is thank you

Which of your remotes have the lowest rates of failure? 

In my experience the pro version only lasts about 4 months on average and that is entirely unacceptable.

Remote after remote after remote have failed within that time.

Your battery needs to last about 4 years because recharging these things kills them. It wasn't just one bad remote. This happened time and time again in the warranty period I think we went through three or four.

I will give Roku one more chance with the cheapest remote available. 

If that fails like the expensive ones do then I will buy another streaming device from another company. 

I was an early adopter of Roku.  It's a shame that your standards are so low with these remotes.

I was an early adopter of Roku also.  Since 2011 I believe.  Never have I had an issue with the remotes until the voice remote pro.  He is correct about the wearing down of the batteries after every recharge. The Roku company should have known better and should have recalled and replaced these faulty remotes.
