Please replace my remote.. it is obviously defective..as previously discussed.. Its gets hot.. rapidly drained new batteries and is No longer operational AT ALL..

What model Roku are you talking about? Not all remotes are the same.

This is exactly what has happened to my remote as well! Roku is less than a year old, and I completed all the steps listed on the website to pair the remote again. Please replace asap!
Same! I've had mine for only a couple of months. I thought it might be something else, but after going through 3 new sets of batteries... I know it has to be a faulty remote.
I have 4 rokus in my house. 3 work fine but on ultra remote gets vey hot and drains brand new batteries in two weeks. this is getting very expensive. Please send me a new remote.
