What model of Roku do you have? If it's a stick that plugs directly into the TV without the need for an HDMI cable, you'll need a Roku voice remote. If it's a TV, you can get a voice remote or the Roku TV remote. If it's any other Roku player, you can use any Roku remote except the remote for TVs. Many universal remotes also support Roku TVs and players (except sticks).

Until you get a remote, you can use the mobile app as a remote as long as your device is still connected to your network.
