Volume suddenly not working.
I've done everything suggested in this forum.

I do not have a gaming remote, but it seems like my Roku now thinks that the remote that came with my Roku Ultra is a gaming remote. That may be a root cause?

Remote used to control AVR power and volume. Now it does not, out of the blue. No icon in the corner of the screen or anything. Tried a whole bunch of things to no avail.
Update on my situation. I ran through the super secret magic sequence of unplugging all my devices and plugging them back in in a special order and my remote is now back to normal, controlling the AVR volume and power.
You'd think that by the year 2021 we would be beyond these sorts of problems. But in the end this had nothing to do with the Roku remote.
exact same here- why gaming remote?
My Roku Remote volume control has stopped working my multiple TV's. The remote does everything else perfectly. It even controls the sound bar on one of my TV's. I've tried all suggestions on your website. Please advise.
