I have a Haier Tv that’s 11 years old. Brand new Roku. Plugged the Roku with HDMI cables works great. I upgraded the remote and I’m able to use voice commands but when I try to set it up for TV control, I start the set up and can hear the music play but it never shuts off. Ran through a couple of codes and gave up after 30.
Does anyone know if it will work with my older model TV?

I would recommend buying a model with a voice remote, instead of buying a model without one then upgrading (far more expensive).
(e.g. the Express 4K is $30 (no voice remote) but the Express 4K+ is $35 (voice remote)...you are paying $5 more for the voice remote)

Yeah it really is more expensive the only reason I’m switching remotes is that the original remote that I had got stuck in some sheets and was washed. It’s no longer working so I went ahead and got a replacement remote with voice command. I’ll check out that site you gave me
