This is extremely frustrating and very unprofessional on roku part to not help us with this issue
I am having the same issue. No matter how many times I reset my router and reset my roku/ and unplug it, it will not connect.
Has it ever been connected to your WIFI?
The easiest way to check your WIFI is to connect other devices (laptop for example) to your router and see if it gets a good signal when is located by your Roku. I have a lot of WIFI devices, so I find out quickly if my WIFI isn’t working
Also, restart your TV and see if that helps. You can restart in the menus or unplug the Roku and plug it back in
Yes, my Roku has been connected to my wifi before. My WiFi connects to everything else. I have restarted my Roku too and it will work for that time. But when I shut off my tv and turn it back on a little later, it cannot connect to the WiFi again.
Yes, mine is doing the exact same thing, it’s the Roku TV. I am going to request a repair/replacement.
I bought mine at BestBuy, but you only have 2 weeks to return. I think it’s going to be a pain in the **bleep**.
worse case is I can run another streaming device using on of the HDMI ports.
luck of the draw
Mine installed a software update on the 17th of Jul (according to the update menu), but it worked fine on 18-19 Jul. I was gone for a couple of days and the WIFI was not working correctly when I turned it on the 22 Jul..
If the support experience is bad, it will be my last Roku TV
@MrP1 Is your wifi signal good at the location of the Roku device? I have several Roku devices and they very seldom lose connection to the wifi. Either you have a faulty device or a poor wifi signal.
Same exact issue I’m having
My Hisense tv keeps getting stuck on wireless scan?? It won’t connect to the internet and stay connected. Replaced modem and it is now stuck on the check for signal/connection. Please ?
The reason I know it's the Roku is that rebooting the Roku can't fix a defective router and I had to restart my TV again this morning. Since I am still under warranty, I plan to contact them today.
It was either the last Roku software update (installed automatically by the TV) or maybe a bad board or WIFI card inside the TV. Unfortunately, I suspect it is a bad component in the TV. I read the reviews before purchasing and they were good, bad luck, I guess.
PS. If I owned one that was out of warranty, I would buy a streaming stick and use it rather than replace the entire TV.
