Re: Roku TV Powers Off After I Turn On Initially
Same problem. I have 3 Roku TVs and family is getting annoyed. Haven’t seen any help. There’s obviously a software problem.

Re: Roku TV Powers Off After I Turn On Initially
Thanks for the response, @Madking1.
We appreciate all the steps you took to resolve the issue. If you've already performed a factory reset on your Roku and the issue persists.
Have you tried turning on Fast Start or Fast TV Start in your settings? That will prevent your TV from completely turning off. When Fast TV Start is enabled, your Roku TV system maintains the internet connection.
To enable this setting, follow the steps below:
- Press Home on your TV remote.
- Scroll up or down and select Settings.
- Select System, followed by Power.
- Select Fast TV Start.
- Highlight Enable 'Fast TV Start' and check the box to enable it.
Note: Fast TV Start uses significantly more power than normal standby and overrides default power settings.
Please keep us posted on how it works for you, and we'll continue assisting you from there.
All the best,
Chel

Re: Roku TV Powers Off After I Turn On Initially
I already did a factory reset. It’s right there in my message. The only solution I found was to turn on the Fast Start setting.

Constant Power Off upon powering on my Roku TV
I have a Roku branded TV, it has the Roku logo in the middle at the bottom, so it is Roku branded and not another manufacturer. I have had the Roku TV since early April. I have had several problems, such as incessantly disconnecting from WiFi, I solved that problem by simply using a hard wired network connection. My current problem: when I power on the TV it comes to the Home screen and then within a second, it automatically goes to "powering off" and it powers itself off. I have to press the power-on button again. So far, it will power-on, but it shouldn't power itself off immediately after I power it on. How can this be fixed?

Re: Roku TV Powers Off After I Turn On Initially
Hello,
I have noticed that almost every time I turn on my TV, it shuts back down. The Home Screen will come up and before I can scroll to an App. (Netflix) for instance, it powers off.
I power up again and it goes to the Main Menu quickly and is fine.
Any ideas as to what is causing this? I have reset the tv, but it continues to happen. More of a nuisance than anything. TV is less then a year old. It is a Roku Select Series 4K
Any suggestions please.
Thank You

Re: Roku TV Powers Off After I Turn On Initially
The unplugging the TV, then plugging it back in seemed to solve the problem. Something so simple. I appreciate the solution from your team.
There was never any error codes or anything else that generated the shutting down. Perhaps this simple fix was all that it needed.
Thank you
Chel and Community.
