Hi. I tried the troubleshooting steps but you tube still just goes to a black screen when I open it. 44-045-480. Software 14.1.4.

I am having the same issue and I called YouTube tv through the help center and they said that they are aware of the problem and they are working on a fix. That’s all the info I got, they said they will email me. When I went to bed the only tv with that issue was my living room tv, this morning it’s all of my tv’s

When I did the update the YouTube tv app disappeared and when I try to add the app again it tells me it’s unable to add the app

Anyone having this issue try this morning…I just tried mine and had to reload the app but it is now working again on all of my tv’s

I have a long thread on this and how I solved the issue. I have a particular model of TCL Roku that seems to have issues SPECIFICALLY with YouTube TV. I explain it in depth and others have solved their problems as well: Re: YouTubeTV buffering issues 

Basically, go buy a Roku Stick and access YouTubeTV through it/USB portal and not directly through your TV/internet connection.

Same issue. Cannot open the youtube app at all right now

I went to YouTube app and hit *  updates appeared. There were two. I updated now. The app works again.
