roku ultra going to live tv when switching to it from cable tv
Hello --- I just got a new tv --- samsung. I been using a roku ultra for some time now. When I connected the hdmi cable to the tv -- it figured out that it was a roku. So now when I switch between the cable box and the roku, roku goes to (roku) live-tv. On the old tv roku went to "home" how do I get the roku to go to "home"

Re: roku ultra going to live tv when switching to it from cable tv
How are you switching from the cable box to the Roku? Are you using the TV's remote to switch inputs or pressing a button on the Roku remote? If the latter, what button are you pressing? Try pressing Home on the Roku remote.

Re: roku ultra going to live tv when switching to it from cable tv
More than one person has reported something similar. I'm starting to wonder if this is a new "feature" Roku is testing out on some of its unsuspecting guinea pigs. You should be able to get the TV to automatically switch to the Roku's input (and even turn on) if you press Home on your Roku remote. See what happens if you do that. I guess one advantage is that you can press it a couple of times and you'll definitely get to the Home Screen.
