I'm hoping Roku will support Matter (and Thread) eventually. I want to see all smart home products support a universally accepted protocol so they can connect and work together regardless of what brand they are. Matter's ability to send commands locally between devices on your Wi-Fi/Thread network is great also. I'm less likely to buy products that don't support Matter now.
