I have a 65” Samsung model UN65CU7000 TV and a new Streambar that is giving me all sorts of trouble.
- For about four years I had a Roku Streaming Stick+ connected to the TV and had no problems at all. Then about six months ago I replaced the stick with a Streambar. It worked fine for about three month. The Streambar has been giving problems for the last three months. (maybe since the last software update last October)
- About twice a week, when I turn on the TV, I get a message saying that the connected device (the Streambar) has no power. But it is powered up. I have to pull the power plug and reinsert to continue.
- About once a week it freezes. There is no sound and none of the remote buttons work. Then after 30 seconds or so the Streambar reboots.
- About three times a day the sound either cuts in half or drops out completely. I have to exit the current app (all apps fail the same way) and then reenter the app.
- Simple things like going to the Home screen can take up to 10 seconds. The old Stick took 3 or 4 seconds.
- System restarts through the system menu, the hidden menu (where you start by pressing Home 5 time), or power cycling is no help at all.
None of the problems are related to any one app. All apps can give the same problems.
