Roku update is causing my TV to turn off randomly and give an HDMI error
Shortly after the last update, my TV started crashing in the middle of TV shows. Then a message saying something was wrong with the HDMI would come up. My TV has worked fine without problem for years and this only started after the most recent Roku update Software version 14.1.4 Build 7709. Please let me know how I can go back to the previous version.

Hey, @frankenberry.
It's great to see you here in the Roku Community!
We understand that you're experiencing issues with your Roku device turning off randomly and showing an HDCP error. We’re here to help you resolve this!
To better understand the problem, could you let us know:
- Is the crashing happening on all channels or just a specific one?
- What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
- Can you help us with additional information about the exact issue you're facing, such as when it happens, a screenshot, or any error messages?
In the meantime, try power cycling your Roku device by unplugging it from the power outlet, waiting several seconds, and plugging it back in. You can also try it on another TV to see if the issue persists.
