Roku streaming stick shows old nickname
My wife went to use her iPhone to stream Apple Airplay to the Roku Streaming Stick in her craft room, but the nickname for that particular device - "Craft room streaming stick" - was nowhere to be found. Eventually she figured out that the device that displays on her iPhone as "Exercise Room" is in fact the streaming stick in her craft room. I checked our Roku account and sure enough this device is listed/named as "Craft room streaming stick", but several years ago was used in our exercise room, hence the name. My question is, where is her iPhone getting this old nickname information from? Why isn't it seeing the device by it's proper nickname, which it's had for a couple of years now? It's very odd to me that the old nickname apparently exists somewhere in the ether and I'm super curious how I can fix it.

Re: Roku streaming stick shows old nickname
This might help.
On your Roku App:
- Tap account ( bottom right )
- Devices in account ( top left )
- Chose whatever device you’re see
- Change nickname
Hope this works

Re: Roku streaming stick shows old nickname
Thanks, I of course already changed it once and the old name was still showing, but I'll change it again and see if that helps move things along. I will reply back with the results!
