Roku keeps overheating - use the extension keeps overheating - when plugged into tv HDMI Roku device is ALWAYS ON AND CHARGING even when turn the tv off. I have to unplug the Roku to keep it cool. Sometimes put it in the refrigerator. 

I think I will move on to either an Amazon fire stick or Apple TV in its place. 

Used to think Roku was great but not any longer. NOT made correctly if keeps overheating. Not made for being connected to the rear of a tv. Should not advertise it as such.

Too bad.
