Roku Express Suddenly has No Signal Message

Just after NYE, I spent four days in the hospital. Before, my VIZIO TV had been fine as was my Roku device. Roku Express.

while in the hospital, a friend who was caring for my Great Dane child set her up with 24/7 tv for when she was home alone. She really does watch tv!

in doing so, she did a bunch of back and forth with the arrow buttons. Nothing more.

i arrived home on Monday to see the “No Signal” message.

Between then and now, I’ve replaced the HDMI cable. The mini power cable. The charger cube. I’ve reset the Roku device. Installed new batteries in the remote and the Vizio remote as nothing worked.

I’ve done this over and again and NOTHING WORKS!!

BTW, neither tv is connected to Roku now. Even the family room ROKU TV.

Tell me I’m not the first to have this problem. I’m certain I’m not the only one. Tell me there is a fix. Please.

Re: Roku Express Suddenly has No Signal Message

@KateWagner, "No signal" is coming from your TV and is informing you that it's not receiving a video signal from the Express.  This can happen if the proper source/input isn't selected on the TV.  Does the light on the front of the Express come on when you connect the power?  Does it flash when you press buttons on the remote?

The problem with the Roku TV sounds completely different.  What happens if you unplug the power briefly and then turn it on?
