I came home from vacation and my ROKU was on and my tv, thus, was on as well. This is both scary and a waste of electricity.

I've been through the settings and the reset options several times and nothing seems to work.

Please fix this or offer a solution. I've tried everything but I am up for suggests and I'm willing to work with reasonable suggestions.

Rokus don't normally turn off (though some offer an optional reduced power mode - which many people turn off.)

So if your TV comes on and it was set to Roku, you'll see Roku.  My parents' Samsung TV starting coming on by itself (they have no Roku but they do have a cable box and a BD player).  I updated the TV's firmware and it stopped.
