We have 9 TVs in our home, all with 4K Roku Streaming Sticks. They seem to last about 2 years and then fail. Just wondering if this is normal or if there's something else we should be doing?
I have a 3600 Stick that was released in April 2016 that my grandson still uses. The Stick models do run warm, so it doesn't hurt to use a HDMI extension cable to move them further away from the TV. That moves them away from the heat the TV generates, as well as leaves them with more airflow around them. Roku offers a free extension cable, and here's the link. However, their extension is pretty short, so it might be worth getting something more like 3' long to give you more flexibility in placement. Here's a 3' cable from Amazon for $6.
