Re: How to onstall a screen saver

Settings > Theme (may take a few seconds to load) > Screensavers will take you to screensavers for your Roku model from which to choose.  The ones from Roku and a few others are free, most are not.  Some are free but have purchasable add-ons like time and temperature displays.  Most give you the chance to view screen shots before you choose to install them.

You may find some additional screensavers via a search in the Channel Store. Some are from Roku, most are from other sources.

Re: How to onstall a screen saver

Hi! @Rich1112,

Thank you for reaching out to the Roku Community!

Using the steps below, you can browse and change screensavers from the Settings menu.

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote.
  2. Scroll and select Settings.
  3. Select Theme to open the Theme menu.
  4. Select Screensavers.
  5. Browse the My Screensavers section to choose an option already installed on your Roku device or find and download a new favorite from the many available screensavers.
    • Tip: When browsing lists or tile grids, press Rewind or Fast Forward on your Roku remote to jump up or down one page at a time.
  6. Highlight a screensaver and press OK on your remote to open the description and details.
  7. If the screensaver is installed, you can select Set as a screensaver to switch to that screensaver.
  8. If the screensaver is not installed, you can see a preview by selecting View screenshots.
  9. To install a new screensaver, select Get screensaver if it is a "free" screensaver or Buy $X.XX if it is a "paid" screensaver.
  10. After the new screensaver is downloaded and installed, you can select Set as a screensaver to switch to that screensaver.

Please feel free to let us know if you need any additional assistance!
Thanks,
