You keep giving the same solution that does not work. Pushing the asterisk

does nothing. Please explain how to return the channel numbers.

When I go to the All Channels Tab on my roku tv and press the * button,  nothing happens. Any other solutions on getting the numbers back?

@Dei, you're going too far left.  You want to be on one of the channel logos just to the right of the All Channels, Favorites, etc. list.  It should pop up a little "* for options" banner when you're on one.  Then choose "Sort channel list".

I recommend putting the channels you watch the most in the FAVORITES section. Roku has been changing channel numbers & rearranging where some channels are located on the grid. They messed my lineup horribly, they stuck a bunch of STUPID CHANNELS (romance movies, etc.) in the 'number tier' that I watch the most.

You instructions to restore the channel numbers are useless. It does not work. One day I had channel numbers and all of a sudden they were gone...on all of my roku ti's and months later the all appear again for a few months and now they are all gone again. Can you reset the settings so the channel numbers come back and stay? Also a remote the the ability to type in the channel you want to view would be helpful

you still can get the channel list.  all you have to do is goto your roku to where the channel list was click on the star .. then goto sort list channel click on that .the goto by channel number .. you will have them back
