As described: Clicking 'Apple Airplay and HomeKit' from the Settings Menu gives a black screen with "Airplay" in white text, which promptly vanishes back to the Settings Menu.

We're having the same issues with Airplay although we had no problem until a few months ago.
Now it connects very briefly, video plays normally for one or two seconds then we get the Airplay screen.

It’s been two months lol. Have you heard back from Roku support? seems like they don’t care.
Amazingly, it just started working again after several months. Was there a software upgrade? Seems to be since my SIM card had to be reformatted.
Just streamed video off my phone like a champ. Thanks for whatever you did.

when i select airplay and homekit settings , nothing shows up…i see my roku device option in my phone for mirroring but when i click on it ….it shows UNABLE TO CONNECT TO TCL ROKU TV …

This continues to happen as I reported a long time ago--no change--and as described by many users. Get the AIRPLAY splash screen after selected AIRPLAY setup in the settings menu. The AIRPLAY setup function is not running for me.
