My Roku TV does not detect my Windows 10 PC, when using ARC (my stand-alone BR player works well).  Roku DOES detect the Windows PC without ARC (PC -to-AVR-to Roku TV HDIMI connect), after I changed HDMI from autodetect to HDMI 2.1). 

Is the PC simply not compatible with ARC/eARC, or can any changes be recommended?

Problem solved

I realized that I can simply bypass the AVR, connecting directly to the TV (HDMI1, as an example).  The TV provides the video, while the sound is routed to the AVR, via ARC.
