Why would a tv ask you to upgrade through a computer usb? Sounds like hacking to me and I find this is why I will NEVER buy another roku in my entire life. IF I have to upgrade a TV, then there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with that when told to GET INFORMATION off your computer through a usb and call it an upgrade. I don't trust this and now don't have a roku tv anymore because of this.
Is it Roku branded, or something like ONN, Philips, etc? It's possible USB may be needed for hardware updates. The Roku part is mainly the visible software interface.
