It sounds like there may be an issue with the IR sensor on your TCL Roku remote. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
- Check the line of sight: Make sure that the remote is pointed directly at the TV and there are no obstacles blocking the signal. If there are, remove them and try again.
- Try fresh batteries: Replace the batteries in your remote with fresh ones and try again.
- Repair the remote: Unplug your TV from the power outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait for the TV to fully restart, then try re-pairing the remote by pressing and holding the pairing button on the back of the remote for 3 seconds.
