TCL Roku Tv Sluggish after 10/17/2024 Update

After latest update, Mt TCL Tv is very sluggish when connecting to streaming services and other HDMI inputs. I am required to unplug , wait, and restore power to restore normal operation.

We appreciate you for letting us know about the issue you encountered when streaming your TCL Roku TV after an update. No worries! We're here to help you get back on streaming.

To troubleshoot the problem to help you stream without interruptions, try doing the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the * key on your remote, and choose 'Remove channel.'
  2. Next, restart your device from Settings>System>Power>System restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
  3. After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store and add the channel again.

In addition, try reinserting the cables at the back of the TV and make sure that it is properly seated.
