Sunlight damage on an LCD Roku TV?

I have a TCL Rokue 4K tv, just moved into a new apartment with a lot more sun but is also relatively small so there isn’t really anywhere to hide the tv from a direct beam at some point during the day. Pretty sure this tv is LCD, not OLED. Am I at risk of damaging my TV if I’m not vigilant with keeping my shades drawn or the screen somehow covered? I use it every day so I’d hate to have the quality degraded or end up needing to replace it sooner than later.

Ignore this.  It is just another copy/past of a post on Reddit.  It contains two spam links at the bottom not present on the original post.
