I am using Roku Streambar with wireless sat speakers. I have the Amazon Music App installed. Like my previous Ultra, the Amazon Music App does not display "Music HD" for any songs. This implies MP3 is being streamed. Can someone verify that Streambar does not support Amazon Music HD?
Kind of a rabbit hole here. Amazon Music HD is standard CD quality at 44.1kHz/16-bit. A base for Lossy or Lossless streaming. Does Roku stream Lossless audio? No.
In doing so, you will need compatible Devices/Apps/Codecs/Hi-Fi Component(s) for High-Resolution support.

In April 2021, they announced that they had teamed up with BluOS and MQA to provide 24-bit 96kHz HiRes on BluOS enabled hardware such as Bluesound, NAD Electronics, DALI loudspeakers and Monitor Audio. So far, the station is still only broadcasting MQA encoded CD Quality files via BluOS commenting on their Listener Forum that until there is a greater availability of HiRes originals they will continue with 16-bit files.
Audio quality on the web player ranges from low (32k AAC+ through Medium, High, Ultra (320k) right up to CD Quality lossless FLAC and with the recent upgrade – HiRes capable on BluOS devices using MQA technology.
