Sound mutes or goes back to TV if I want to play a game

When watching TV, sometimes I want to play game on phone while watching TV. When I open app to play game the sound gets muted or starts coming out tv. Can I watch TV and play games at the same time and be able to hear the show I'm watching thru headphones or earpods ?

    We've loved to help you out with this setup. Could you tell us if you're seeing the same behavior when not connected to any external audio devices and by just using the mobile speaker?

    I've tried some of our devices here, but we can't seem to reproduce the issue.
