Sound bar and TV speakers

If I get the Roku sound bar will my Roku TV no longer use the built-in speakers?

My TV is the Roku 55 plus series

Hi @Alexapaestegui

Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community!

For this query. Please be advised that after your wireless soundbar is set up, the speakers inside your Roku TV will be disabled. For additional setup information, review the instructions included by the manufacturer or visit their website.

If you need additional setup help, you can read the Roku TV Wireless Soundbar Quick Start Guide.

Thanks,

Anjelie

Re: Sound bar and TV speakers

Welp guess I have to buy the sound bar. I don't understand why Roku can't allow the bass speaker to connect to the TV by itself. Oh well the sound bar looks nice and I would like it anyways.
