Someone is controlling my TV

I have a TCL Roku Tv and just recently you will see a side bar on the left side of tv come up and someone scrolling through to power off tv or switch to another device like dvd or game. I’m not sure what’s going on but it’s pissing my wife and I off. We can’t watch tv anymore without this happening. It don’t happen on my Onn tv I have in my bedroom only the TCL

It sounds like your TCL RokuTV may be in "demo/store" mode.

Although some newer RokuTVs now have a "Home" mode available in the Settings, I believe for the TCL RokuTV, you still have to Factory Reset the RokuTV (press and hold reset button for 30 seconds) and then proceed through setup and activation again. (use same email address you did before).

Make sure you select Home mode when prompted. https://support.roku.com/article/115004035608

Alternatively, you can Factory Reset through Settings/System/Advanced System Settings/Factory Reset.
