This seems to be an ongoing problem with many streambars. It just started for me when I upgraded to a new TV (TCL - 55" Class Q-Series QLED Mini-LED 4K UHD Smart Google TV). It started with the Paramount plus app and has now spread to all apps. I have updated all firmware, did a hard re-start, tried multiple HDMI cables, tried different inputs on the TV, tried multiple sound setting on the roku as well on the TV. It appears to be getting worse every time I turn it on.
No one has contacted me about the static problem. This also seems to be a common problem, get told some one will email and one does. Really need to improve communication.

When watching a program (happens regardless of which service) at some point the sound will just become static and the dialog will drop out to a low volume while the other is sounds are still audible but very static. If I go out to main menu and then back into the same program it's fine... Until it's not again. Usually happens several times during a single episode.

My Streambar does the same thing from time to time. Very annoying ... I turn the TV off for about 30 sec then back on. Twice in the recent past I've had to go past the "TV off" & disconnect all power to the TV & ROKU. Then the speaker issue was fixed.
Seems like you engineers could fix this problem with an upgrade.
happens to me too and I just bought it - should.notvhappen for $180 !!!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I have the same problem. Horrible static or no sound.
I can project the sound to my iPhone with the Roku app, but this is not a solution.
