RE: Sharp Roku TV - When I turn the TV on, the "Sharp Roku TV" logo comes up on the screen per usual; however, the screen quickly goes black a few seconds later. Without me doing anything, the "Sharp Roku TV" logo appears again a few seconds later. If I leave it alone, it cycles between black screen and "Sharp Roku TV" logo over and over again. I am never able to get to the menu screen. I would appreciate any guidance you may have about how to fix this.
Have you tried contacting the TV manufacturer to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS.
These things are just special purpose computers. Like their big brothers sometimes clearing things out by restarting them is all it needs.
Restart via Roku menu path Settings > System > System restart (Or for Roku TV: Settings > System > Power > System restart - just turning the tv off/on doesn't give a full restart)
If a restart doesn't do it, or if you don't have sufficient control with the remote to navigate the Roku menus, you can also restart by pulling the power plug to the device for a minute or so then plugging it back in.
